This is just some standard rules for Naruto role play:
1. Anything that happens outside this thread has no bearing in this thread. That means if some one caused you to have some great rivalry outside of the Naruto role play, you can't meet from different villages and instantly have a rivalry. Stuff like that.
2. Remember, this is Naruto. Some superpowerful techniques are ok. I say this because of my jutsu. Just don't say that you can use all jutsu all the time with absolutely no drawback. If you have any question, private message me personally. I am in charge of this thread, so no one else will answer you.
3. Enjoy yourself! This is a way to relax, so don't go over board. Just have FUN!

If there is any Naruto battle your wanna have between characters, do it in an one-on-one section with the characters' names as the title. This 'One-on-One' concept means one character from each team, not neccessarily a two man battle. If a challenge is posted and it includes more than one member from each team, then I will ref it. Then again, I will be refing them all, but multiple teammates against one person, or maybe two or more, is sometimes a little more heated.
Though the battles could be to the death, if someone dies in a one-on-one thread, they won't die in the campaign thread, just to clarify.
Anything that happens in the one-on-one section stays there, so if you copy someone's technique in the one-on-one thread, you can't use it in the campaign thread until they use it. Also, if anyone uses a jutsu in the one-on-one thread, you shouldn't know about it instantly in the campaign thread either, unless it isn't Secret Jutsu or Forbidden Jutsu.

Now, for the Campaign Rules:
We will do this in story format - you type what someone says and who says it, as well as their actions like this:
Nerameshu scowls at the other shinobi.
"You really think you can beat me?! There's no way!" He then starts on a complex, not to mention long, series of handsigns.
Please post more than that for the entry though.
Next (and this goes for the One-on-One section too), no godmoding. This means you can't take control of another person's character. To clarify, none of this:
After completing his jutsu, Nerameshu launches at Kino with the Chidori. Kino dodges out of the way, and starts his own jutsu, a fireball.
However, this is ok:
After completing his jutsu, Nerameshu summons Monkey King Enma in staff-mode. The Sand Shinobi then picks up the staff and strikes Kino with it forcibly, knocking the second ninja back.
If any conflicts arise, stop posting and I'll fix the problem.
Next: Jutsu can't be over powerful, and you need a drawback for the "UberGod" jutsu you made up. You can, however, have other jutsu that reduce the cost of using another, or eliminate it all together. A classic example from the anime (American Version):
Sasuke learns to use the Chidori, a powerful jab technique that focuses chakra into his palm. This built up chakra can easily peirce skin, and sometimes go straight through armor (as with the case when Sasuke Uchiha fought Gaara of the Desert in the Chunin exams). However, one must train their body to be able to withstand extreme speeds, and to move at the speed required produces a tunnel vision-like effect. To counter this, Sasuke uses the Sharingan eye (a Keke Genkai that allows close and effective attention to small details).
Moreover, some people may want their jutsu to be powerful enough and so familiar to them that they may use the jutsu at little, if any, cost, and sometimes without even using handsigns. As to the second, they explain this in the show. Some ninja become so familiar with particular jutsu that handsigns are no longer required (such as the replacement, or escape, jutsu). But with the first, if you wish to use a particular jutsu or type of jutsu without much cost, you must have both extensive training in that jutsu type and my personal consent. This way, we can keep it interesting, challenging, and fun.
Lastly, break any of these rules, and I'll see to it that you are temporarily banned. Do it twice, and you might be permantly banned. If any one slips my notice somehow, it is your duty to tell me immediately, or everyone runs the risk of this roleplay being deleted. I don't like this possibility, so please don't make me do it.
